Shri. Praful used to grow chilli on his 0.4 hectare of field using traditional irrigation method of flood irrigation and his total yield used to be 12500 (kg/acre). He wants to increase the yield of his crop so he introduced Epc drip irrigation system for Chilli in his field. Through the use of this technique on the same field and same crop, the crop yield increased from 12500 (Kg/acre) to 24500 (kg/acre).

Although there was a marginal increase in total cost of cultivation from Rs 83600 to Rs 109087 but the net returns on for the crop increases from Rs 28900 to Rs 135913.
